Customer Review: Not Good for Unpeeled Garlic. Great Until It Broke.

I had this for about 2 years and thought it was a 5 star. The grips and handles are extremely comfortable with great leverage. I always peeled the cloves before using which is why I think it lasted as long as it did. When I attempted to use unpeeled garlic (it's supposed to be good for that) it broke. The perforated metal the garlic squishes through cracked almost completely around and bent out. I intend to contact Anolon for a replacement. If you don't mind using peeled garlic with this device it works really well. It's not strong enough for unpeeled garlic.
